Creating financial progress for a new generation of Americans who have been left behind by the traditional banking system
Current was founded in 2016 with the mission to build a better banking service for the millions of Americans who live paycheck to paycheck. That means making products and services that are faster, cheaper, and more accessible… Banking that helps people move forward without holding them back.
In 2023, I led a company rebrand to center our strategy, design system, and marketing communicattions around this mission.
With the help from design partners COLLINS and Brand New School, along with our small but mighty in-house team, we began to show what financial progress can look like and feel like for Millennials and Gen Z-ers.

Brand consideration increased by 288% over the following 8 months after the rebrand launched
