Current is a digital banking service that uses technology to make banking faster, cheaper, and better. And one of the best things about Current is that you can get paid up to 2 days faster on your direct deposits.
So for Halloween, we brought this feature to life through a branded content initiative that highlighted the horror of what can happen when you have to wait for your paycheck from a traditional bank.
2 Days in Hell was a long form faux film trailer with teaser spots that ran on TV and in social. We worked with real horror film directors and casted TikTok influencer @flossybaby in the spot to amplify it on social.
In true startup fashion, the whole project came together in less than two weeks. And it became the most successful brand initiative to date for Current.
